Someone asked me about it, and I realised I didn't cover it here. It's old news by now, but it's apparently possible to convert the Slim battery to Pandora, contrary to previous reports.
Yes, the readme still advises against using it on a Slim battery. That's because of earlier news that Slim batteries could not be converted to Pandora. While people have successfully converted Slim batteries into Pandora, no one has retracted the earlier statement about Slim batteries being incompatible with Pandora.
Therefore, try at your own risk. I recommend you only flash the serial back from eeprom.bin when restoring your Slim battery to normal.
